Graduation and moving-up tarpaulin: what to include and when to order
· 1 min read · Think Media Admin
No graduation in the Philippines is complete without a "Congratulations!" tarp on the gate. Here is how to make yours look good.
Sizes and price
- 2x3 ft — from ₱180. Perfect for the gate or front door.
- 3x4 ft — more room for a bigger photo.
- 3x5 ft — for the party area or garage.
What to include
- The graduate's full name and a clear photo (toga photo or a nice portrait).
- The school and the level: Kinder, Grade 6, Grade 10, Grade 12 or college course.
- Honours, if any — "With Honors", "Cum Laude".
- A short line from the family: "We are so proud of you!"
Use a good photo
A phone photo works if it is sharp and well lit. Send the original file, not a screenshot or a photo that was sent through chat many times — those become blurry when printed big.
Beat the rush
Graduation and moving-up tarps are often released the same day. Still, March and April are graduation season and printers get busy, so send your details a week before the ceremony if you can. Same-day release needs a final layout and payment before 12 noon.
